A Happy New Year! A long time has passed since I posted the last entry!!
This year has just begun and I am motivated to once again write my blog in English again.
I am determined to keep writing in this blog^^
The winter holiday was over last week, so the final semester started.
I am ready to struggle with students again! haha But actually, I have survived the harsh times, dealing with complicated problems at school. A lot of students have various problems! I can't tell you about them anymore...
Anyway, the new year has just started. One of my resolutions is to resume studying English or using English!
I got the iPad to read 'Economist' or English newspapers on it. Hence I am ready to do that.
I wish you have a good year. Wish me luck as well!
Taka's English Diary
This blog tells you my daily practices of English teaching at a junior high school in Japan in terms of SLA(Second Language Acquisition) and applied linguistics. These theoretical perspectives are based on my experience completing MA at Reading University, UK.

About this blog
The aim of this blog is to write down notes about SLA and practices in the classroom. Applying what I learned in the U.K., I will critically analyse teaching methods currently adopted in Japan. In addition, I will reflect my English lessons for junior high school students in terms of SLA theories. Not only SLA notes but also some descriptions about my life and thoughts will be told.
